SPLENDID ISOLATION TABLE
Privacy and interaction in a communal working space.
This project was created during student exchange program in Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin with Shahar Reshef.

This table focuses on privacy and interactions in the communal working space. In such place, the need for privacy is greater and the conflict between these two concepts - privacy and communality - only increases. Our goal to maintain a dynamic situation led us to create a desk with an attached folded “septum” that can be adjusted and used when needed. By a simple action, the shared desk turns into an isolated section that allows privacy in the shared working space.

Due to its modularity, the desk can be rearranged in multiple ways to enable working as a group, pair, or as an individual.
